Sometimes we brush aside how we feel. We don’t take the time to process it, respect it, and do the work to address it. When we ignore these issues, they can snowball into much larger issues.
When our mental health is lacking – it can do harm to all parts of us.
I hope that this study serves as a wake-up call to anyone who needs it. It IS important to take time for yourself. It IS important to address issues as they arise. It IS important to take care of your mental health.
Their results reveal that people who experienced symptoms of anxiety or depression had a lower life expectancy than those without any such symptoms.
