    i agree that caring for our whole self — spiritual as well as physical — is part of honoring ourselves. it’s actually a privelege to meet this responsibility/purpose.

    obvious challenges: offerings of “easy”, processed foods at grocers; offerings at restaurants, parties, etc, which must be questioned and often eliminated. it seems that most live in a “hurry-up” schedule — yet research has shown that even microwaving & coated-cookware can break-down good health over the the long-haul.

    i’m all-for people developing their own solution for “real fast-food”: in the home; and for “take-out” (work & play). if one can set-aside time for “laundry”; why not also set-aside “cook-ahead time”: juicing etc., cooking by appropriate means; slicing; then storing in convenient portions for no-fuss meals.

    …the goal? good’ol convenience, which we can have if we plan for it! (i.e.; little snack-packets of pre-made & “good-4-u” coldcuts, could be no-brainers to reach-for.) 🙂
